Job summary

Rosenbauer America is seeking a Production Lead to supervise daily production activities and coordinate tasks within their group. The role focuses on meeting production goals, ensuring quality and safety, and collaborating with material specialists and engineering to prevent line stoppages.

The ideal candidate will have experience reading blueprints, using measurement tools, and understanding build processes, while maintaining high standards in cost control and workplace safety.

Qualifications

• High school diploma/GED required.
• 1+ years of department specific experience required.
• 1+ years of Rosenbauer build process experience required.
• 3+ years of department specific experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Ensures volume, cost, waste, and quality standards of their department are achieved.
• Works directly with material specialists to assure accurate and prompt delivery of materials.
• Works with engineering to resolve issues related to BoMs, design, and process to resolve line stoppages.
• Ensures compliance with all safety policies and initiatives.
• Trains and instructs line personnel, monitors production progress, communicates with supervisors on performance.
• Monitors build book signoffs and areas of accountability.
• Provides back up support for supervisor and gives feedback on employee performance.
• Performs other duties to meet department needs.
