Pull-A-Part, LLC. is seeking a Production Lead in Baton Rouge to guide a team responsible for automotive salvage, recycling operations, and facility upkeep. You will ensure safety, efficiency, and productivity while aligning with core values.

The role emphasizes leadership, teamwork, and hands-on supervision of a production crew, with responsibilities spanning scheduling, inventory, and equipment maintenance in a fast-paced yard.

Qualifications

• Leadership and supervisory experience in production or industrial operations.
• Commitment to safety, teamwork, and customer service excellence.
• Mechanical aptitude and familiarity with automotive parts and systems.
• Strong organizational and administrative skills.
• Ability to multitask and adapt in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience operating industrial or heavy equipment.

Responsibilities

• Supervise, motivate, and develop production team members
• Maintain facility cleanliness and ensure work areas meet safety standards
• Manage daily production schedules and performance goals
• Oversee automotive salvage and recycling processes
• Operate heavy equipment (loaders, forklifts, crushers, etc.) as needed
• Audit and record inventory levels to ensure accuracy
• Conduct equipment inspections and coordinate maintenance
• Enforce company policies, procedures, and standard operating practices (SOPs)
• Support hiring, training, and performance management for production staff
• Collaborate with management to optimize workflow and process efficiency
• Work standard production hours (Monday–Friday), with occasional overtime, weekends, or holidays
