Job summary

Averro is seeking a Mechanical Assembler Lead Technician to lead the design, build, and assembly of custom gas energy equipment from the ground up. The role requires hands-on leadership, mentoring, and a focus on eliminating production delays while maintaining quality standards.

You will manage a small team on the shop floor, ensure readiness of manpower, materials, and tools, and push for standardized work procedures. Strong communication and attention to detail are essential for success.

Qualifications

• 2–3 years of production experience on the shop floor.
• Strong attention to detail and fault-prevention mindset.

Responsibilities

• Ensure daily production readiness (Manpower, Materials, Methods, Tools & Equipment).
• Manage daily production, work order flows and time tracking for your team.
• Handle abnormalities by recording, fixing and troubleshooting issues.
• Provide hands-on leadership, support and mentorship to employees in problem-solving activities.
• Document and escalate delays and other operational issues to the Production Manager.
• Initiate and support standardized work documentation and work procedure updates.
• Ensure only trained and qualified team members perform work; train gaps as needed.

A busy custom manufacturing company is seeking an experienced and professional Mechanical Assembler Lead Technician to lead the time that performs design, build, and assemble custom gas energy equipment from the ground up. Equipment involves piping, small tanks, fasteners, pneumatics, gaskets, mechanical components, basic electrical wiring, and a variety of mechanical parts and pieces.

Responsibilities:

• Ensure the conditions for production are met each day (Manpower, Materials, Methods, Tools & Equipment)
• Manage daily production, work order flows, and time tracking for your team
• Handle abnormalities by recording, fixing, and troubleshooting production issues
• Provide hands-on leadership, support, and mentorship to employees in problem-solving activities.
• Document and escalate delays and other operational issues to the Production Manager
• Initiate and support standardized work documentation and work procedure updates
• Ensure only trained and qualified team members perform work. Where gaps exist, train your team.

Qualifications:

• Our ideal candidate has excellent relations and communication with the shop floor team and has 2-3 years of production experience. They understand the work from a mechanical level and are interested in developing their leadership skills while tackling large challenges in the business. Must show examples of attention to detail, a bias toward problem prevention, and a logical fact-based approach to find and fix issues.
