Position Summary

This role involves performing duties in the assigned production area, coordinating activities, troubleshooting with operators, and leading by example. The position is hands-on and may involve acting as the lead in the absence of the Supervisor.

Essential Functions

• Collaborate with supervisors to prioritize and meet quality and shipment goals
• Monitor and update production schedules
• Ensure proper operation of machinery and raw material procedures
• Lead troubleshooting and coordinate with support groups
• Maintain documentation and records
• Act as a communication link between the team and management
• Promote safety, housekeeping, and environmental compliance
• Support training and performance reviews
• Perform other duties as assigned

Competencies

• Forklift license
• Manual dexterity, research skills, quantitative skills, reading comprehension
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Word, Excel
• Ability to multitask and resolve conflicts

Education and Experience

• High School Diploma or GED
• Experience in plastics, colorant manufacturing, chemical industry, or related leadership roles

Physical Demands

• Standing, sitting, walking, and manual tasks, with occasional lifting up to 50 pounds
• Work environment includes noise, protective equipment, and possible exposure to weather, heat, humidity, dust, or fumes
