Qualifications

  • 2 – 4 years’ manufacturing experience required.
  • Three years of production control experience preferred in food and beverage manufacturing.
  • Knowledge of SOPs, safety regulations, and hazard recognition.

Job description

The Production Lead role is responsible for the safe and efficient operation of the syrup making process, working in conjunction with the shift supervisor to meet all Safety, Quality, and Production metrics. The Production Lead will oversee a team of 20 to 25 associates, conduct pre-shift meetings, set daily directions, and ensure adherence to quality checks. Effective communication, leadership, and continuous improvement are essential skills for this role. The Lead also provides facts, policies, and practices related to the job area across shifts.

Job Requirements:
  • High School diploma or GED required
  • Typically requires an Associate's Degree or equivalent experience
  • 2 – 4 years’ manufacturing experience required
  • Ability to stand and walk continuously
Desired Skills/Knowledge:
  • Manufacturing experience or knowledge preferred
  • Proficiency in MS Office and SAP
  • Understanding of manufacturing equipment and basic troubleshooting
  • Strong organizational and communication skills
  • Problem-solving skills and ability to work under stress
  • Decision-making skills with limited information
  • Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing practices and tools
Position Requirements:
  • Three years of production control experience, preferably in food and beverage manufacturing, or five years of relevant work experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, PowerPoint)
  • Knowledge of SOPs, safety regulations, and hazard recognition
  • Mathematical skills including fractions, percentages, and basic statistical analysis
  • Troubleshooting and root cause analysis expertise
  • Adherence to company policies and safety rules
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work area
  • Ability to understand and follow instructions and communicate effectively
  • Support for cross-functional teams and continuous improvement initiatives
