Shift/hours

• 12 HR AM Shift 6:00AM-6:30PM, rotating schedule (2-2-3), training Mon-Fri 6:00AM-2:30PM, possible overtime until 4PM
• 12 HR PM Shift 6:00PM-6:30AM, rotating schedule (2-2-3), training Mon-Fri 10:00PM-6:30AM

Major Responsibilities

1. Oversee manufacturing and production operations: including assembly, machinery, processing, and packaging. Ensure efficiency and quality.
2. Equipment Operation: Assist in operating machinery, perform changeovers, schedule maintenance, and manage startup/shutdown procedures.
3. Quality Control: Establish standards, inspect finished goods, and ensure compliance.
4. Waste Reduction: Identify opportunities to reduce waste and lead initiatives.
5. Maintenance: Monitor machinery, ensure proper maintenance and operation.
6. Cost Efficiency: Implement continuous improvement processes.
7. Team Coordination: Assign tasks, train, and communicate effectively with team members.
8. Documentation: Complete production reports, quality documents, and logs.
9. Safety and Cleanliness: Maintain a safe, clean work environment and follow safety protocols.
10. Communication: Coordinate with departments and management.
11. Technical Expertise: Use equipment knowledge to resolve issues and improve processes.
12. Training: Train new and existing employees on equipment and processes.
13. Delegation: Assign tasks, monitor productivity, and provide materials to internal customers.
14. Reporting: Analyze reports and use the AS400 system for inventory management.
