Job summary

Flex-O-Glass in Chicago, IL is seeking a Production Lead to support our plant operations on 12-hour night shifts. You will oversee a team of machines, coordinate start-ups, monitor materials, and train new staff under the shift supervisor.

Responsibilities include changeovers, machine maintenance, quality checks, and coordinating with management to meet production targets. The role suits experienced supervisors in a manufacturing setting.

Responsibilities

• Oversee a group of machines and ensure smooth production.
• Troubleshoot machine issues and perform start-ups and changeovers.
• Coordinate material availability and packaging supplies for shifts.
• Assist shift supervisor and relieve operators for breaks.
• Perform die maintenance and report resin quality as needed.
• Ensure quality control testing and meet product specifications.
• Lead training and coaching of new personnel.
• Communicate effectively with the team and management.
• Occasionally perform supervisor duties in absence of a manager.
