Job summary

Rise Baking Company, LLC in Worcester, MA is seeking a Production Lead to oversee assigned line(s) in manufacturing and packaging of product. You will lead line workers to maximize productivity and quality, and act as liaison between production supervision and staff.

Responsibilities include directing and assigning work, ensuring documentation, monitoring equipment, training and coaching, maintaining safe conditions, supporting food safety programs, and handling other duties as assigned.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED and 2 years of experience in manufacturing environment and/or food industry.
• Production and packaging equipment and process experience.
• Demonstrated leadership skills; strong verbal and written communication.
• Ability to organize, manage multiple priorities, and maintain high attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Self-directed and capable of working without close supervision.

Responsibilities

• Direct and assign work to employees within their specific area/line as needed to reach daily production targets.
• Ensure all required documentation is present and completed.
• Monitor equipment and notify Production Shift Supervisor and Maintenance of any equipment issues or problems impacting production.
• Train and coach new and existing employees.
• Maintain safe working conditions; support food safety program and quality standards.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

Salary Range: $23.00 To $27.00 Hourly

California, Illinois, Massachusetts, Minnesota, Washington, and New York Residents Only: The hourly range for this role is $23.00-$27.00 per hour. Pay is based upon several factors including but not limited to local labor markets, education, work experience, certifications, etc. Rise Baking Company complies with all minimum wage laws as applicable.
