Job summary

PureStar in Portland, OR is hiring a Full-Time Production worker to monitor linen processing, correct issues, and support supervisors in running the Production Department efficiently.

You will supervise daily team activities, ensure safety and cleanliness, maintain quality of every linen bin, and assist with inventory and inter-department coordination as needed.

Qualifications

• Able to respond to verbal commands and effectively follow directions.
• Organized, paying great attention to details.
• Minimum 2 years warehouse or housekeeping experience, a plus.

Responsibilities

• Oversee, monitor, and coordinate production team activities, giving importance to individual member's and overall team's achievement of established goals.
• Act as liaison between team members and production management.
• Ensuring a safe working environment and preventing accidents is to be the highest priority.
• Responsible for always maintaining a clean work area, including pre- and post-shifts.
• Assisting supervisor in running the designated department assigned.
• Must assure the quality of every bin leaving the department is of the highest quality possible.
• Maintain the flow of the bins throughout the department.
• Places rewash bins in correct department and segregate by hotel.
• Keep enough linen to be processed by machines for more efficiency.
• Complete inventory for customers as needed.
• Lead and motivate their teams.
• Other duties as requested by immediate supervisor and/or management group.
