Job summary

Shutterfly is hiring for a 4th shift supervisor (Thu-Sun, 5pm-5am) in Plano, TX. Lead daily production, drive efficiency, and coordinate activities to meet performance goals.

You will mentor associates, conduct meetings, and collaborate with planning to set goals and cross-training needs while ensuring safety and quality. Competitive pay with benefits and growth opportunities in a climate-controlled facility.

Qualifications

• 1+ year of leadership experience in high-volume manufacturing.
• Detail oriented with multitasking, prioritization, under pressure, and deadlines.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Willing to work in other production departments when needed.

Responsibilities

• Provide leadership to coordinate daily production operations, efficiency and performance.
• Conduct one-on-one discussions and daily/weekly meetings with associates.
• Work with forecast planning to set goals and cross-training needs.
• Communicate critical information with leaders and escalate issues.
• Conduct safety training meetings with associates.
• Understand and communicate quality issues with management, staff, and other shifts.

4th Shift: Thursday-Sunday 5pm-5am

Pay Rate: $21/hr. + $2/hr. shift differential

What You’ll Do Here

• Provideleadership that fosters teamwork while coordinating activities of daily production operation, efficiency, and performance
• Conduct one-on-one discussions and daily/weekly meetings with associates in reference to daily plans and performance feedback
• Work with forecast planning to set goals and cross-training needs for the department
• Communicate critical information with leaders and escalat e any issues or roadblocks
• Conduct safety training meetings with associates
• Understand and communicatequality issues with management, technical staff, and other shifts
• Maintain confidentiality and strict compliance with the company’s security policy related to potential access to sensitive information.

The Skills You’ll Bring

• 1+ year of leadership experience. A background in high volume, repetitive manufacturing is preferred
• Detail oriented with the ability to multitask, set priorities, operate under pressure, and meet deadlines
• Ability to stand for long periods of time, lift up to 50 lbs., mobility to crouch, kneel, reach, bend and do repetitive actions with hands and arms
• Able and willing to work in other Production Departments on the Manufacturing floor when business needs
