Job summary

Halperns' Steak & Seafood is seeking a Production Lead to oversee daily pork and beef production lines at our Walton, KY facility. You will drive production to meet daily goals and ensure safe handling of materials and PPE compliance.

You will work with the Production Manager to plan staffing and maintain efficient workflow, upholding company policies and contributing to a culture of quality and safety.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of USDA production leadership experience.
• Proficient in yield management.
• Basic computer knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Sets and achieves daily production goals.
• Manages pork and beef line and monitors raw material usage to ensure correct cut shop.
• Ensures all raw material employees scan boxes and use proper PPE.
• Communicates with Production Manager on staffing needs.
• Works with peers to maintain efficient production flow.
• Enforces company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Position Summary:

Responsible for setting and achieving daily production goals.

Essential Functions:

• Manages Pork and Beef line and monitors raw material to cut shop to ensure correct usage.
• Ensures all raw material employees are properly scanning boxes and using proper PPE.
• Communicates with Production Manager on staffing needs.
• Works with peers to ensure production flow remains efficient.
• Enforces company policies.
• Performs other duties as assigned.

Knowledge / Skills / Experience:

• 3+ years of USDA production leadership experience.
• Proficient in yield management
• Basic computer knowledge.
