Job summary

Vestis Corporation in the United States is seeking a team-oriented laundry facility associate to ensure safe, expeditious handling of merchandise. You will contribute to accurate processing and help keep production on schedule.

Responsibilities include preparing work stations, loading and unloading garments, inspecting items for defects, and maintaining a clean, safe work area. Weekend shifts and overtime may be required.

Qualifications

• Ability to understand all required training, written, and verbal instructions.
• Working knowledge of basic math skills.
• Good verbal and/or written communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Ability to meet attendance schedule.

Responsibilities

• Prepares their work station.
• Transfers hangers from hanger rack to shirt or pant hanging aid.
• For shirts, dresses shirt on hanger and aligns sleeves.
• Identifies merchandise repairs not meeting quality standards and marks items for repair.
• Maintains a safe and clean work environment and observes production best practices.
• Other duties as assigned.
