Job summary

Livestock Nutrition Center in Quanah, TX is hiring production laborers to join our mill operations team. You will be responsible for keeping the mill clean, performing routine maintenance, and assisting with equipment repairs while supporting a safe, efficient workflow.

Candidates should be able to stand long hours, lift up to 50 lbs, and work in varying weather. Prior forklift or loader experience is preferred; some weekend work may be required and FSMA familiarity is a plus.

Qualifications

• Ability to walk and stand for 10 hours per day.
• Able to repetitively lift 50 lbs.
• Experience with forklift, skid steer, or front-end loader preferred.
• Ability to work in varying weather and environmental conditions including dust and extreme temperatures.
• Maintain safe, clean working environment.
• Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Attention to detail and teamwork.
• Some weekends required in winter months.
• Familiarity with FSMA standards related to feed production preferred.

Responsibilities

• Keep the mill clean including the grounds surrounding the mill.

• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors.
• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.
• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.
• Ensure ingredients meet LNC quality standards.
• Safely operate equipment following training.
• Follow company safety practices and OSHA standards.
• Perform other related operational tasks as assigned by local management.

Position Summary

Livestock Nutrition Center, a leading regional feed manufacturing company, is looking for motivated Production Laborers to join our team. We are currently hiring mill production operators, including light equipment operators, who can work with a flexible schedule.

Responsibilities & Duties

• Ensure the mill is kept clean, including the grounds surrounding the mill.


• Ensure daily, weekly, monthly routine preventative maintenance tasks are completed.


• Assist in repair and maintenance projects with the maintenance staff and contractors, as well as fulfill Project Manager requests.


• Assist in maximizing efficiency of the mill and crew.


• Maintain inventory of macro and micro ingredients.


• Ensure quality of ingredients are of LNC standards.


• Safely and efficiently operate equipment, following proper training of all equipment.


• Ensure company safety practices are followed, along with OSHA standards.


• Perform any other related operational processes and tasks deemed necessary by local management.

Qualifications & Skills
