Job summary

Torrey Holistics in the Midwest seeks a fabrication associate to operate heavy equipment, set up beds, and ensure precise concrete finishing per drawings. You will read blueprints, cut wood block outs, monitor bed heat, and uphold safety and quality while working overtime as required.

Strong teamwork and problem-solving skills are essential for daily batch runs. Responsibilities include equipment maintenance, layout accuracy, and adherence to the Fabcon Way, with emphasis on first-time quality

Qualifications

• Ability to read tape measure, cast book and blueprints.
• Good communication and teamwork skills; operate machinery safely.
• Willingness to work extensive overtime; knowledge of concrete mixes; mathematical aptitude.

Responsibilities

• Operate jackhammer, forklift, bobcat.
• Follow instructions to clean and upkeep equipment.
• Cut and install wood block outs.
• Set up equipment for casting bands and finishes.
• Lay out the bed per piece drawings and overall bed length.
• Monitor bed heat at computer.
• Wash exposed aggregate panels/beds.
• Set clamps/hook-ups to panel.
• Adhere to safety, quality, and Fabcon Way principles.
