Nucor Corporation in Monroe, NC is seeking a dedicated candidate to uphold safety and operate plant equipment in a 3:30PM–11:30PM shift. You will monitor and maintain production equipment, drive forklifts and skid loaders, and support a collaborative team in a fast-paced environment.

The role emphasizes safety, reliability, and teamwork, with opportunities to contribute to efficiency and quality within North America’s largest steel and steel products manufacturer.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Schedule 3:30PM - 11:30PM Monday–Friday.
• Monitor, clean and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation.
• Operate mobile equipment including forklift and skid loader.
• Assist other workers as needed.
• Cleanup and other duties as assigned.

Basic Job Functions

Safety is the most important part of all jobs within Nucor; therefore, candidates must be able to demonstrate the ability to initiate, lead, and uphold safety policies, practices, procedures, and housekeeping standards at all times. Properly follow company and OSHA safety procedures. Schedule- 3:30PM - 11:30PM Monday- Friday. Monitor, clean and inspect plant production equipment to ensure proper operation. Operate mobile equipment including fork lift and skid loader. Assist other workers as needed. Cleanup and other duties as assigned.
