Job summary

Intermountain Electronics in Commerce City, CO is seeking a Production Laborer for the Day Shift to assemble, install, disassemble and prep components for our power/distribution projects. You will operate hand tools and small shop equipment, lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work with a team on a fast-paced, safety‑driven production floor.

• Reliable, responsible and able to fulfill obligations.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, welder, cutting torch, grinder, brake press and painting equipment.
• Able to stand and walk for extended periods.
• Team player with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

Intermountain Electronics (IE) is a leading provider and manufacturer of custom engineered Process, Electrical Control and Power Distribution turn-key solutions to the Data Center, Industrial, Power/Utility, Oil & Gas, Mining industries in North America. Our products range from large scale one-off custom Power Distribution, Control and Process systems to standard off-the-shelf electronic/electro-mechanical components. Reporting directly to the CGO, we are currently seeking a Production Laborer for our Day Shift to be based at our Commerce City, CO facility.

Work Schedule

Monday- Thursday 3pm- 1:30 am (core hours)

Full Time: Must be able to work a 40 hour work week and additional time as required

Essential Functions

• Assemble, install, disassemble, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, and rebuild components related to the job.
• Provide assistance in the final assembly department by assembling racks, cable trays and installing insulation, siding, and electrical components.
• Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing used machinery using pressure washer, applying caulk, taping, masking, wiping, vacuuming, hanging on racks etc.
• Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment by removing all broken components and replace with new or refurbished parts.
• Dress and clean surfaces, re-tap holes, touch-up paint, to OEM condition
• Provides assistance in the warehouse, shipping, Point of use deliveries, kitting jobs, putting away inventory, organize and bins and shelving, join the 5S daily tasks.
• Collect and gather garbage. Organize shop floor.
• Use and operate various hand and shop tools.
• Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each shift.

Other Essential Duties

• Maintains regular and consistent job attendance, comes to work on time.
