Job summary

Intermountain Electronics Inc is seeking a Production Laborer for the Day Shift at our Commerce City, CO facility. The role involves assembling, installing, and refurbishing components, plus aiding in final assembly and warehouse tasks.

You’ll operate various hand and shop tools, with strict adherence to safety rules and IE core values. The position requires the ability to lift up to 50 lbs, stand for long periods, and work Monday-Thursday from 3pm to 1:30am, with overtime as needed.

Qualifications

• Must be reliable, responsible, and able to follow directions.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and push/pull up to 100 lbs.
• Operate forklift, overhead crane, welder, cutting torch, grinder and related tools.
• Stand/walk for extended periods and work multiple tasks.

Responsibilities

• Assemble, install, disassemble, clean, repair, refurbish components.
• Assist final assembly by mounting racks and installing insulation and electrical components.
• Prepare equipment for painting and perform cleaning and masking tasks.
• Disassemble and replace broken parts with refurbished components.
• Dress and clean surfaces to OEM condition and maintain shop cleanliness.
• Assist in warehouse, shipping, and inventory organization; 5S tasks.
• Operate and care for tools; store equipment properly at shift end.
• Follow safety rules and IE core values.

Work Schedule: Monday- Thursday 3pm- 1:30 am (core hours)

Full Time: Must be able to work a 40 hour work week and additional time as required

Essential Functions

• 1. Assemble, install, disassemble, clean, prepare, repair, refurbish, and rebuild components related to the job.
• 2. Provide assistance in the final assembly department by assembling racks, cable trays and installing insulation, siding, and electrical components.
• 3. Prepare equipment to be painted by cleaning, washing used machinery using pressure washer, applying caulk, taping, masking, wiping, vacuuming, hanging on racks etc.
• 4. Disassemble, clean, and repair equipment by removing all broken components and replace with new or refurbished parts.
• 5. Dress and clean surfaces, re-tap holes, touch-up paint, to OEM condition
• 6. Provides assistance in the warehouse, shipping, Point of use deliveries, kitting jobs, putting away inventory, organize and bins and shelving, join the 5S daily tasks.
• 7. Collect and gather garbage. Organize shop floor.
• 8. Use and operate various hand and shop tools.
• 9. Properly care for and maintain tools in good operating condition; ensure tools and equipment are properly stored at the end of each shift.
