Spherion Staffing is seeking motivated Production Operators to join a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing team in Alburtis, PA. In this role you will perform routine assembly, manual soldering, and machine operation to build high-quality electronic products on a night shift.

• Problem Solving: report issues to Team Leader when bottlenecks occur.
• Safety & Compliance: maintain a clean, safe workstation and follow guidelines.

Spherion Staffing is seeking motivated Production Operators to join a fast-paced, high-tech manufacturing team in Alburtis, PA. In this role, you will perform routine assembly, manual soldering, and machine operation to build high-quality electronic products. Whether you are an experienced assembler or someone looking to learn a valuable new industrial trade, we will provide the foundational training and certifications you need to succeed!

Responsibilities

• Manual Assembly: Perform precise hand soldering and manual assembly of component parts using visual aids, wiring lists, and written blueprints.
• Equipment Operation: Set up, operate, and perform basic maintenance on semiautomatic and automated assembly tools and test equipment.
• Quality Inspection: Inspect electronic components prior to assembly, identify defects, and run functional test units to ensure all items meet quality standards.
• Problem Solving: Recognize hiccups or bottlenecks in the production line and report component issues to your Team Leader.
• Safety & Compliance: Maintain a clean, organized workstation and adhere strictly to all company health and safety guidelines.

Working hours: 11:00 PM - 7:00 AM

Skills

• Hand Soldering: Previous experience performing manual hand soldering on components.
• Equipment Operation: Prior experience setting up, operating, and maintaining semiautomatic, automated assembly, or functional test equipment.
• Manufacturing System Knowledge: A basic understanding of how manufacturing and production systems operate.
• Technical Troubleshooting: Ability to spot problems in the assembly process and clearly communicate/report those issues to a Team Leader.

• Instructional Comprehension: Ability to read, learn, and follow detailed assembly instructions, visual aids, wiring lists, and written documentation.
• Basic Manual Dexterity & Coordination: Prolonged repetitive motions requiring precise hand-eye coordination to manually assemble small components.
• Quality Inspection: Ability to inspect component parts prior to assembly and recognize/reject defective parts.
• Sustained Visual Concentration: Ability to maintain extended periods of focus on small product assemblies and detailed paperwork.
• Basic Literacy & Numeracy: High school level or equivalent ability to read, write, and perform basic counting or math tasks.
• Physical Stamina: Ability to sit or stand in confined workspaces for long periods and perform periodic light-to-heavy manual lifting.
