Job summary

JOLLY TIME Popcorn is seeking a Production Janitorial / Production Waste Level I Tech for 2nd shift to maintain clean and orderly areas of Building 41 (Microwave). Responsibilities include sweeping, washing, disinfecting bathrooms, stocking areas, and completing logs to support GMPs and production goals.

The role emphasizes teamwork, attention to detail, and adaptability in a manufacturing setting with shift work requirements.

Production Janitorial / Production Waste Level I Tech 2nd Shift

Our Production Janitorial / Production Waste Level I Tech - 2nd Shift is responsible for keeping the areas of Building 41(Microwave) clean and orderly by performing the following essential functions:

Essential Functions:

• Sweeping production floor to maintain a clean work environment
• Washing mats, trash cans, floor, etc.
• Clean and disinfect bathrooms (includes toilets, walls, sinks, sweep, mop, etc.)
• Stock and clean production room including windows, walls, stairways, surfaces, doors, etc.
• Garbage collection, dumping, and tracking
• Sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming floors and rugs
• Scrubbing and sanitizing sinks, washrooms, etc.
• Keep all work areas clean including trash docks, production floor, corn bins, tank rooms, hallways, restrooms, breakrooms, locker rooms, warehouses, offices, etc.
• Completion of Paperwork - including but not limited to - Chemical Use Logs, Transfer Logs, Salt Logs, & Sign Out Inventory Sheets
• Outside trash removal and general cleanliness including spray downs and ashtray emptying
• And other duties as assigned by supervisor

Qualifications:

To perform this job successfully an individual must be able to perform each essential function satisfactorily. Previous sanitation experience a plus. Knowledge of cleaning products and interactions strongly encouraged. High school diploma or general education degree (GED) preferred.

Skills and Competencies:

This role requires a positive attitude focusing on teamwork to collaborate with other team members to achieve production goals. Strong attention to detail is essential to ensure plant cleanliness to allow for production. Must have keen observation skills and attention to detail that will allow you to see the small details as well as the large details. Self-starter and ambitious personality needed to help succeed.

Language Ability:

Ability to read and comprehend instructions, regulations, correspondence and memos in English. Ability to write simple correspondence. Ability to understand and follow instructions.

The work environment is in a manufacturing facility. The environment is often dynamic and collaborative, with collaboration being essential in this role. Employees will contribute to overall production goals, with employees supporting the efficiency and effectiveness of the manufacturing processes. The manufacturing facility involves hands-on tasks, machinery operation, and adherence to GMPs. This setting requires attention to detail, adherence to protocols, and the ability to adapt to the demands of the company. Working hours outside of standard office hours will be required.

This position requires standing throughout the workday. You will need to engage in tasks that involve climbing stairs, standing, mobility, walking, repetitive motion, pushing and pulling items, and lifting. This role requires twisting, bending and reaching during tasks. Climbing ladders and stairs is necessary to access certain work areas. This role requires adaptability to the changing demands of tasks and responsibilities. Will be lifting, carrying, and moving up to 35 lbs. regularly.

Training & Shift Differential

• A $1.50 per hour shift differential is offered for 2nd shift positions.
