Job summary

BMW Manufacturing seeks an IT professional to coordinate installation, maintenance, and security of production systems, ensuring no disruption to running lines. You will support software deployment, patching on a defined schedule, and adherence to ITPM standards.

Collaborating with Planning and IT, you’ll implement measures against cyber threats for networked devices, maintain technical security architecture, document configurations, and support change management across projects.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in STEM or business administration or 4 years of software development in automotive/manufacturing.
• 1+ years IT or Systems Management experience in manufacturing.
• 1+ years programming in Python, SQL, PL-SQL or Apex.
• Knowledge of system architecture; OS, Active Directory, group policies, networks, databases.
• 1+ years networking and storage management; MS Office skills incl. Word/PowerPoint.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate installation, maintenance and security of production systems with minimal disruption.
• Support software deployment and patching on defined schedules.
• Protect production devices with malware protection and updates.
• Collaborate with planning/IT to meet standards and ITPM methodology.
• Develop and maintain device registries and document configurations.
