Job summary

BMW Manufacturing Co., LLC invites applications for an IT Security professional to coordinate protection of network-connected production devices and systems. You will install and maintain software, patch devices on schedule, and apply security measures aligned with BMW ITPM standards.

You will collaborate with planning and IT teams, analyze requirements, and drive changes securely while maintaining system availability and performance within a manufacturing setting.

Qualifications

• BA/BS in STEM or Business Admin or 4 years software dev exp in automotive/manufacturing.
• 1+ years IT or Systems Management in a manufacturing environment.
• 1+ years programming with Python, SQL, PL-SQL, Apex; knowledge of OS, AD, networks, and data comm.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with controls planning, testing, setup, and maintenance of production systems without impacting live production.
• Install and maintain software; patch devices on a defined schedule.
• Protect production devices with malware protection and patches; implement security measures.
• Analyze requirements, test IT solutions per BMW ITPM methodology.
• Coordinate with CERT, IT and project planners for required installations or removals.
