Job summary

INX International Ink Co. in Ohio is seeking a Production Assistant to support production planning and inventory control at one of our locations. You will process orders in SAP, maintain process orders, and assist with inventory accuracy to ensure on-time manufacturing and delivery.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, strong communication, and basic SAP experience, with a focus on teamwork and continuous improvement within a safe environment.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED.
• 6 months to 1 year of administrative work in production.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Some SAP experience.
• Proficient computer skills.
• Knowledge of production processes (plus).
• ink industry experience (plus).

Responsibilities

• Process and confirm production orders in SAP.
• Create, release, and maintain process orders.
• Assist with customer order activities during emergencies.
• Monitor and update order tracking system for status and schedules.
• Perform cycle counts and support inventory accuracy initiatives.
• Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies.
• Manage inventory transactions and material movements in PSAs.
• Ensure material availability to support production schedules.
• Communicate with Customer Service and internal departments.
• Support internal purchasing activities and purchase requests.
• Maintain production, inventory, and purchasing records.
• Generate reports and provide administrative support for production planning.
• Partner with Production Supervisor and Materials Manager to address issues.
• Support continuous improvement initiatives in efficiency and accuracy.
• Follow safety rules and company quality standards.
