Job summary

Oldcastle APG, a CRH Company, seeks a motivated Operations/Inventory specialist to support scheduling, purchasing, and material planning at our Greensboro plant. This role involves coordinating with production, procurement, and EH&S to ensure smooth operations and on-time delivery.

The ideal candidate will have a high school diploma, basic software skills (Excel/Word), and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment while lifting up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; some college business coursework preferred.
• Proficient in Excel and Word; able to learn product information.
• Capable of multitasking in a fast-paced environment; problem solving.
• Must be able to lift and move up to 50 pounds occasionally.

Responsibilities

• Analyze sales orders for capacity planning and material needs.
• Issue production schedules to plants to ensure on-time delivery.
• Advise on shipping information and delivery dates.
• Maintain communication with production and purchasing on material status.
• Assist in inventory management and physical inventories.
• Order and supervise unloading of raw materials; use Purchasing System.
• Support Operations Manager and EH&S with safety training as needed.
