Job summary

The Boeing Company in North Charleston, SC is seeking Production and Inventory Coordinators to join our team onsite. You will move materials, support part availability, and help maintain inventory accuracy in a fast-paced aerospace environment.

Ideal candidates have 1+ year experience in receiving, stock or ERP systems (SAP), and forklift certification. This role requires lifting up to 40 pounds and a willingness to work 4th shift; relocation is not provided and visa sponsorship is not offered.

Qualifications

• 1+ years of experience in receiving, storing, picking, kitting, and shipping.
• 1+ years of experience with inventory, stock, or supply chain management.
• 1+ years of experience working with ERP systems such as SAP.
• Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds repeatedly.
• Currently have or are able to obtain forklift license.

Responsibilities

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage.
• Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability.
• Analyzes problems and resolves discrepancies to maintain inventory accuracy.
• Manages factory major aircraft section preparation in support of manufacturing build plan.
• Validates work to ensure compliance with Safety and Quality requirements.
• Coordinates with Enterprise organizations in support of 787 program Supply Chain activities.
• Leads and coordinates site shipping activities and communicates status to stakeholders.
• Collaborates across cross-functional organizations.
• Works under limited supervision.

Boeing Commercial Airplanes (BCA) is currently seeking Production and Inventory Coordinators to join our team, located in North Charleston, South Carolina on 4th (AWW)

Position Responsibilities:

• Processes and moves production and other materials into and out of storage
• Identifies and reports problems and recommendations to ensure parts availability
• Analyzes problems and resolves/reconciles discrepancies with parts and materials to maintain inventory and system accuracy
• Manages factory major aircraft section preparation in support of manufacturing build plan
• Validates work performed by team to ensure compliance to all company policies to include Regulatory, Safety and Quality requirements
• Coordinates with Enterprise organizations in support of 787 program Supply Chain activities worldwide
• Leads and coordinates Boeing South Caroline (BSC) site shipping activities and communicates status to stakeholders
• Collaborates and maintains professional relationships with all member in cross-functional organizations
• Works under limited supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite in North Charleston, SC.

Basic Qualifications (Level B):

• 1+ years of experience in receiving, storing, picking, kitting, and shipping processes
• 1+ years of experience with inventory, stock, or supply chain management
• 1+ years of experience working with any industry ERP (Enterprise Resource Planning) system or an equivalent such as SAP (System Applications & Products)
• Ability to lift up to 35-40 pounds repeatedly throughout a shift
• Currently have or are able to obtain forklift license

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):

• 1+ Years experience in supply chain concepts and best-practices
• 1+ years forklift experience
• High School diploma/GED
• 3 or more years’ related work experienceor an equivalent combination of education and experience
