Career Personnel is seeking a Production Control Manager in Alabama to oversee warehouse activities and staff, ensuring conformance to procedures and driving supply chain efficiency and cost control.

The role coordinates production scheduling, inventory control, procurement, and cross‑functional work with the Plant Manager to optimize material flow, improve accuracy, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree preferred or equivalent experience.
• Seven years related experience or equivalent.
• Must be proficient in MS Office.
• Strong organizational, problem-solving, interpersonal and analytical skills.
• Good judgment with the ability to make timely and sound decisions.

Responsibilities

• Interfaces with Plant Manager to control operating costs.
• Performs quarterly and/or annual physical inventories; provides inventory reports.
• Monitors and controls the order process, ensuring efficient and adequate flow of products.
• Develops, implements, and maintains processes to reduce costs and increase customer service.
• Coordinates activities of departments to deliver efficient material movement to drive costs/inventory investment down while improving accuracy and response time to customers.
• Manages the supply chain at the plant level, interfacing with vendors, third-party providers, and the materials/supply chain system.
• Oversees scheduling of production and packaging operations, procurement of materials, inventory control, and the effective utilization of personnel within the materials/logistics group.
• Performs other duties as assigned by Plant Manager.
