Job summary

The Tombras Group in Knoxville, TN is offering a paid Production Intern position for 8.5 weeks, paying $18 per hour up to 25 hours per week, from 9/23/26 to 11/20/26. You will assist producers with research, scheduling, casting, and location scouting, and support studio and location shoots.

If you’re pursuing Media, Marketing, Advertising, or a related field and have 1+ year experience with video, editing, or photography, you’ll contribute to a fast-paced team.

Qualifications

• Currently enrolled as a Senior in a Bachelor's program or recent graduate in a related field.
• Experience with video, photography, or editing is preferred (1+ year).
• Ability to communicate clearly with production team in writing and speech.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to meet deadlines.
• Experience in a fast-paced environment and collaborating with others.

Responsibilities

• Assist producers with research, scheduling, casting, and location scouting
• Support administrative duties: booking crews, outreach, calls/emails, travel, props, and equipment
• Help with logistics for studio and location shoots
• Provide production assistant support during shoots on-site and on-location
• Create documents, files, orders, budgets, scripts, and research material
• Take notes during meetings and assist with shoot-week logistics
• Provide daily support to production leads and complete special projects
