Job summary

JBS Foods in Elkhart, IN is hiring an Hourly Production Employee to join our food manufacturing team. This full-time, hourly position focuses on operating production equipment, packaging, labeling, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met on fast-paced lines.

• Assist with other production duties as assigned

Scope of Position:

We are seeking reliable and motivated production hourly employees to join our food manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will safely and efficiently perform production task while maintaining food safety and quality standards. They will perform a key role with ensuring that our products are consistently manufactured safely and the specifications of our customers and they will be responsible for completing mandatory safety trainings applicable to their specific job assignments, complete all required Food Safety/GMP trainings.

Qualifications:

• Previous manufacturing or food production experience is a plus but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and perform repetitive task
• Ability to lift/push/pull up to 50 pounds
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
• Ability to work in temperatures are near or below freezing
• Ability to work in damp cold conditions with slippery floors
