Job summary

International Paper in Mount Carmel, PA is seeking a General Helper (Production Team Member) to support machine operators and keep the manufacturing process running smoothly. This hands-on role offers training, growth opportunities, and a clear pathway to becoming a Machine Operator.

The position requires flexibility for 8–12 hour shifts on 2nd (3PM–11PM) or 3rd shift (11PM–7AM, Sunday-Thursday). You will work at Mt. Carmel Container, Mount Carmel, PA 17851.

Qualifications

• Strong understanding of safe work practices and a commitment to maintaining a safe work environment.
• Basic math skills, including the ability to perform measurements and accurately read a tape measure.
• Strong attention to detail and a focus on quality.
• The ability to read, review, and interpret work orders, specifications, and production instructions.
• Excellent teamwork skills with the ability to collaborate effectively to achieve production and operational goals.
• Mechanical aptitude or experience working with machinery and equipment preferred, but not required.
• Willingness to learn, adapt, and take on new challenges in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Responsibilities
