Job summary

King's Hawaiian Holding Co. is hiring a Production Helper on the 4C line in Oakwood, Georgia. You will assist with roll dividing, bread rounding, and moving pans and tins, while monitoring conveyors and maintaining clean, safe work areas.

A high school diploma or GED and at least one year of warehouse/production experience are required; training will be provided. You must read and follow English instructions, report equipment issues, and cooperate with the team on safety procedures.

Qualifications

Responsibilities

• Perform tasks in bread production including dough handling and line equipment.
• Attend to roll dividing and bread rounding equipment per specs.
• Supply empty tins and monitor conveyors for jams.
• Inspect products for conformance and report non-conformance.
• Move materials between machines and departments.
• Keep the work area clean and sanitize as assigned.
• Assist in training new employees.
• Follow safety procedures and report incidents.
• May operate equipment and travel for company when needed.

If you’re excited to rise with our team, come and join our `ohana!*To perform all the various job tasks included in the production of bread and rolls.* Attends to the roll dividing equipment to straighten out the dough balls in pans or trays to meet product specifications.* Attends to the bread rounding equipment to place dough balls into pie tins to meet product specifications.* Supplies other employees with empty pie tins.* Monitors conveyors for jams clears jams safely.* Inspects products for damage or for conformity to specifications. Notifies Supervisor of any non-conformance of product.* Pushes material or products between machines or departments on a dolly.* Picks up pans from dolly and places them onto the conveyor or removes them from conveyor and places them on a dolly.* Moves pans racks and dollies to or from the area.* Starts or stops conveyors by pushing buttons on a control panel.* Keeps work area clean and organized by picking up debris sweeping the floor wiping down the equipment and other sanitation jobs assigned.* Attends box former by starting and stopping the machine when necessary keeping magazine full and clearing jams safely.* Helps mixer by opening boxes or bags of ingredients and loading them into mixers hoppers or feeders.* Performs other tasks that may arise in the production area after appropriate training.* Helps in the training of new employees or employees who change job classifications.* Reports all equipment problems to the foreman or supervisor immediately.* Promotes safety by understanding and following safety procedures and reporting all incidents in a timely manner.* Plans and carries out job assignments without creating hazards to yourself and other employees.**Qualifications:**To perform this job successfully one must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close distance color and peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. May require the use of equipment in the machine shop small portable equipment and manual tools. While performing the duties of this job There will be regular exposure to moving mechanical parts. Occasional exposure to wet and/or humid conditions high precarious places fumes or airborne particles and extreme cold. The noise level in the work environment is usually high.
