Job summary

EarthFresh GMPs in Colorado is seeking a Grader to ensure potatoes meet designated quality specifications. Reporting to the Production Manager, Raw Product, you will remove deficient product from grading lines and document any deficiencies for corrective action.

The role requires 1–2 years in grading within the produce industry, strong attention to detail, and the ability to stand for long periods while maintaining GMPs and safety standards. Overtime, evenings, and weekends may be required.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–2 years grading experience in the produce industry preferred.
• Ability to follow established quality specifications.
• Attention to detail in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to stand for long periods and be flexible for overtime including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Remove deficient product (potatoes) per quality specifications from grading lines.
• Report deficiencies to Production Manager, Raw Product or Food Safety & Quality Technician.
• Adhere to all food safety and health & safety regulations and GMPs.
• Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, Raw Product.

OBJECTIVE

Reporting to the Production Manager, Raw Product, the Grader is responsible for ensuring quality product is being packaged as per designated quality specifications.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Education:

• High School diploma or Equivalent Experience & Skills:
• 1-2 years of grading experience within the produce industry
• Experience working within established quality specifications a strong asset
• Attention to detail and ability to work within a fast-paced environment
• Manual dexterity and good hand-eye coordination
• Ability to stand for long periods of time is required
• A high degree of flexibility and willingness to work overtime as required, including evenings and weekends

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Remove deficient product (potatoes) as per established quality specifications from the grading lines.
2. Report deficiencies to Production Manager, Raw Product or Food Safety & Quality Technician.
3. Adhere to all food safety and health & safety regulations/policies while following EarthFresh GMPs.
4. Other duties as assigned by the Production Manager, Raw Product.
