Job summary

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of safety regulations, safe work practices, and hazard identification.
• Experience managing employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
• Strong problem-solving, decision-making, and organizational skills.

• Good verbal and written communication skills.

The first shift supervisor leads and coordinates first shift production operations by ensuring a safe, efficient, and productive work environment. Job Summary:

TheProduction Supervisoris responsible forsupervising and directing the daily activities of all team members in the production department. The successful candidate will be able toperformjob hazard analysis withassistanceof theEHSLeader andOperations Manager. This position reports directly to the Operations Manager

Minimizinglinedowntime,increasing efficiency, managing employeeabsencesand performance issueswill be among the pillars for success.The Production Supervisorwill execute special projects,initiatives asassigned, accept safety as a condition, and support factory operations. Furthermore, the candidate must embrace and support the building ofthe Sauer BrandsRecipe.Reports to theOperations Manager.

What We Are Looking For:

• High school diploma or GED required; associate's degree in Manufacturing, Business, Operations Management, or a related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of manufacturing or production experience, with at least 1 year in a leadership/lead or supervisory role.
• Demonstrated ability to lead, coach, and develop employees in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
• Working knowledge of safety regulations, safe work practices, and workplace hazard identification.
• Experience managing employee performance, attendance, and disciplinary matters.
