Job summary

Leprino Foods Company in Fort Morgan, CO is hiring Production General Labor to join our global team. You will help maintain packaging line efficiency, inspect materials and products for quality, and ensure GMP-compliant cleaning of all equipment.

Starting pay is $22.75 per hour with benefits including tuition assistance, vacation, holidays, 401(k) match, annual raises, monthly bonus potential, and profit-sharing. We operate 24/7, so flexibility is essential.

Responsibilities

• Maintain inventory of boxes on packaging line.
• Inspect packaging materials for defects.
• Inspect final cheese product for quality.
• Properly clean and sanitize all equipment following Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Package final cheese product into totes.

At Leprino Foods, starting compensation for this role is currently $22.75 per hour.

What You’ll Do:

• Maintain inventory of boxes on packaging line.
• Inspect packaging materials for defects.
• Inspect final cheese product for quality.

Minimum Qualifications:

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to speak, read, and write in English.
• Ability to access elevated work areas such as climbing ladders/stairs.
• Ability to understand and apply Standard Operating Procedures.
• Ability to wear all required personal protective equipment and comply with all safety practices.
• Maintain a clean work area according to Good Manufacturing Practices.
• Good communication skills to communicate with co-workers and incoming/outgoing shifts.
• Must be willing to work in a manufacturing environment that operates 24/7/365, this includes nights, weekends, and holidays.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in a manufacturing environment is preferred.

Physical Demands and Work Environment:

• This position will be exposed to working in a wet/slippery environment with loud noise in varying degrees of temperature
• Specific vision may be required for this position, including close vision, distance vision, color and depth perception, and the ability to read computer screens for extended time periods
• Must be able to lift and carry up to 38 pounds
• Frequent walking and standing
• Climb up and down stairs/ladders, bending and reaching required
