Job summary

Staffmark is hiring a Production Frame Fabricator in Dothan, AL. In this role you will operate production machinery to fabricate metal door frames, AC vent doors, and sheet metal components in a fast-paced environment.

The position offers Monday–Friday 6 AM–3 PM with weekly pay, benefits, and opportunities for growth. A high school diploma or GED is preferred, and prior manufacturing or machine operation experience is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Operate production machinery used to manufacture metal door frames and AC vent doors

• Produce metal closet bifold doors and metal door frames
• Monitor machine performance and report any operational issues
• Inspect finished products to ensure quality standards are met
• Maintain a clean and safe work area
• Follow all company safety procedures and production requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous machine operation, manufacturing, production, or industrial experience is preferred.
• Experience performing machine setup, tooling changes, troubleshooting, or preventative maintenance is beneficial.
• Knowledge of Lean manufacturing, quality systems, or continuous improvement practices is considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate mechanical ability, reliability, teamwork, and a commitment to quality are well positioned for success as a Production Frame Fabricator.

Physical Capabilities

• Ability to stand, walk, bend, and perform repetitive production tasks throughout the shift.
• Ability to lift materials, components, or finished products weighing up to 50 pounds.
• Ability to safely operate manufacturing equipment while maintaining awareness of moving machinery.
• Ability to wear required personal protective equipment and work safely in a manufacturing environment.
