Job summary

Smurfit Westrock Company in Seward, NE, is seeking a manufacturing associate to support corrugated box production. You will operate equipment safely, perform quality checks, set up materials, and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Starting pay is $22.32 per hour for 2nd shift, with training on the day shift and a schedule that moves to the 2nd shift in January 2027. Benefits include health, life and disability insurance, 401(k) with company match, holidays and paid vacation.

Qualifications

• Must read a tape measure and perform basic math.
• Ability to use basic computer functions and input data accurately.
• Strong commitment to safe work practices and following safety rules.

Responsibilities

• Operate manufacturing equipment safely and follow directions.
• Maintain a clean, organized work area and support material setup.
• Perform quality checks and assist with shift-to-shift transitions as needed.
• Respond to production needs and work overtime/various shifts when required.
