Job summary

MK Spud Grower Center,CO is hiring a forklift operator to support the production floor. The role involves staging raw product, verifying PO numbers, and performing forklift inspections to ensure safety and accuracy in daily runs.

The candidate should have a high school diploma, 2–3 years forklift experience (food manufacturing a plus), and be ready to work overtime as needed while maintaining clean work areas and adhering to GMPs and safety policies.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma is required.
• Current forklift license or certification is required.
• 2-3 years of forklift operator experience, preferably in a food manufacturing environment.
• Positive and team-oriented attitude.
• Good communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs.
• Flexibility to work overtime, including some evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Stage raw product on production floor for transfer to the production line.
• Verify accuracy of purchase order numbers per the production schedule.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections of forklift.
• Maintain cleanliness and housekeeping of the work area.
• Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety laws and EarthFresh GMPs/policies and procedures.
• Assume other duties as required by the Production Manager or Supervisors.

• 2-3 years of forklift operator experience (within a food manufacturing environment an asset)

PRINCIPAL RESPONSIBILITIES

1. Staging raw product on production floor for the purpose of emptying bins and totes onto the production line.
2. Verify accuracy of purchase order numbers in accordance with the production schedule.
3. Pre and post inspection of forklift.
4. Perform house-keeping duties and maintaining cleanliness of work area.
5. Ensure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety laws and regulations and EarthFresh GMPs/policies and procedures.
6. Other duties as required by the Production Manager, Raw Product and/or Production Supervisor.
