Job summary

Roskam Foods in Grand Rapids, Michigan is seeking a Production Foreman to lead frontline manufacturing teams, train and coach staff, and ensure the daily production schedule is executed safely and efficiently.

You will set up and run packaging lines, monitor quality checks, maintain records, and collaborate with maintenance and quality teams to resolve issues, while upholding Roskam's commitment to safety, training, and continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Experience leading operations teams in a manufacturing plant.
• Strong leadership and communication skills.
• Professionalism and a passion for leadership.
• Experience with food service/manufacturing a plus.

Responsibilities

• Train and coach employees.
• Manage the production schedule.
• Set up, operate, and tend to equipment that packages food products and processing any rework from equipment malfunction.
• Clean and sterilize equipment and factory processing areas.
• Inventory management software maintenance.
• Record production data during quality checks.
• Observing, receiving, scanning, data base entries and obtaining information from relevant sources.
