Job summary

The Atlas Group is seeking a Production Flow Coordinator in Wichita, KS, to oversee the movement of materials and products through the manufacturing process and to optimize workflow efficiency. The role collaborates with Program Management, Supply Chain, Quality and Engineering to release and schedule production orders to meet customer requirements.

Responsibilities include generating daily schedules, monitoring 5S data, coordinating shop floor activities, and resolving disruptions to maintain

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED or equivalent experience.
• Knowledge of MRP system function.
• Good communication skills.
• Able to multitask and adapt to shifting priorities.
• Forklift certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate the physical movement of materials, components, and finished products through the manufacturing and assembly process.
• Generate and distribute daily schedules.
• Generate and distribute daily plant-wide 5S board data.
• Review Andon boards daily to ensure product flow supports need dates and assembly lines.
• Review released jobs for issues/held for items and document in operation status notes.
• Interact with shop floor personnel as required in support of order fulfillment.
• Assist in scheduling/prioritizing workflow per shop / customer schedules.
• Perform WO splits as necessary to support production/ customer requirements.
• Cleaning up transactional data (journals), closing / open operations, adjusting pick quantities etc.
• Assist Engineering by pulling work orders for redline or stop work.
• Ensure that production processes comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations.
