Job summary

Wabash is seeking a production-support professional in Kentucky to assist the supervisor in achieving production goals. You will coordinate the workforce and workflow within the department, plan and organize assignments, and train associates to maintain productivity.

The role requires good communication, leadership, and the ability to learn company tools and safety procedures. Attendance is critical, and overtime may be needed.

Qualifications

• Must have good written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to exercise independent judgment.
• Demonstrated leadership and teamwork abilities.
• Knowledge of department tools, techniques and processes.
• Ability to learn and run computer applications and basic math.
• Ability to understand Engineering specifications and production orders.
• Excellent attendance record required.
• Willingness to work overtime.
• Valid driver’s license and ability to operate a forklift.

Responsibilities

• Assist supervisor to meet production goals and coordinate workforce and workflow.
• Plan and organize work assignments, complete reports as assigned.
• Train and coach new and existing associates, monitor productivity.
• May perform additional duties as requested by supervisor.
• Ensure work quality aligns with company standards and safety plans.
• Overtime may be required.
