Job summary

Wisconsin Steel & Tube Corporation in Manitowoc, WI is seeking a Production Scheduling Coordinator who coordinates release and management of production orders to support schedules, delivery commitments, and customer priorities. You will work across production, planning, purchasing, shipping, and customer service to keep workflows efficient and on track.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or equivalent, 1–3 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Teams).

Responsibilities

Coordinate the release and management of production orders to support production schedules and delivery commitments.
Review and validate documentation such as BOMs, routings, drawings, and specifications.
Create and maintain production schedules, work orders, and capacity plans.
Monitor progress and communicate schedule changes to leadership and other departments.
Coordinate with Purchasing, Inventory Control, and Production to resolve shortages and disruptions.
Expedite materials and orders as needed to meet customer requirements.
Maintain accurate production data in the ERP/MRP system and update statuses.
Track orders to ensure timely completion and complete documentation.
Act as primary contact for scheduling inquiries and coordinate issue resolution.
Collaborate with Production, Planning, Engineering, Quality, Customer Service, and Shipping.
Assist in continuous improvement initiatives related to production control and inventory.
Generate reports and provide production metrics and capacity information to management.
