Job summary

Alinabal seeks a Production Floor Team Leader — Continuous Improvement in Milford, CT to lead a high-performing manufacturing team focused on safety, quality, and on-time output. You will supervise daily production activities, balance staffing, coach employees, and monitor KPIs to drive continuous improvement while ensuring adherence to Lean, 5S, and preventive maintenance.

Qualifications

  • 5+ years in manufacturing with supervisory or production leadership experience.
  • Strong leadership, communication, organization, and talent development capabilities.
  • Knowledge of production equipment; press operations exposure preferred.
  • Mechanical aptitude with solid troubleshooting/problem-solving.
  • Ability to read drawings/prints, job travelers, and work instructions.
  • Background in Lean, 5S, and continuous improvement practices.
  • Experience with manufacturing/production-tracking systems (ERP/MRP).
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily production activities to achieve safety, quality, delivery, and productivity objectives.
  • Balance staffing and workflow to meet customer requirements.
  • Lead training, coaching, and employee development; promote cross-training.
  • Ensure adherence to safety, quality standards, and procedures.
  • Monitor KPIs and drive continuous improvement.
  • Resolve issues related to equipment, materials, tooling, and processes.
  • Coordinate with Engineering, Quality, Maintenance, and other teams.
  • Support preventive maintenance activities.
  • Lead Lean manufacturing, 5S, and CI initiatives.
  • Maintain a safe, clean, and orderly environment.
  • Complete performance evaluations and provide ongoing feedback.
  • Perform other related duties as needed.

Physical requirements
  • Frequent walking, standing, and bending on the manufacturing floor for extended durations.
  • Occasional lifting/moving of up to 50 pounds.
  • Exposure to plant conditions such as noise, heat/cold, dust, and moving machinery.
