We're looking for a Production Warehouse Material Handler to join our team. In this role, you'll help ensure materials are received, organized, delivered, and shipped accurately and efficiently, playing a critical role in our daily operations. Climate controlled facility
As a Production Warehouse Material Handler, you'll:
Receive, inspect, stock, and organize incoming materials and inventory.
Deliver materials to production areas to keep manufacturing running smoothly.
Safely operate a forklift to transport materials throughout the facility and between buildings.
Load finished products onto trucks and unload incoming raw materials.
Package, label, shrink-wrap, and stage finished products for shipment.
Verify shipments, packing slips, purchase orders, and production orders for accuracy.
Pull materials for production and customer orders.
Perform inventory cycle counts and maintain accurate inventory records.
Learn and utilize our inventory management system.
Communicate with production, shipping, and other departments to fulfill material requests.
Maintain quality standards throughout the material handling process.
Complete daily logs and required documentation.
Keep work areas clean, organized, and safe.
Follow all safety procedures, including proper lockout/tagout practices.
Assist with additional projects and responsibilities as assigned.
High school diploma or equivalent.
Previous warehouse, shipping/receiving, manufacturing, or material handling experience preferred.
Forklift experience or the ability to become forklift certified.
Strong organizational and time management skills.
Basic computer proficiency and the ability to learn inventory software.
Good basic math skills
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
A strong commitment to safety and quality.
This position requires the ability to:
Lift up to 50 pounds with or without reasonable accommodation.
Walk, stand, bend, and stoop for much of the workday.
Work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
