Job summary

NYCOA is seeking a hands-on Production Supervisor to lead plant employees and support safe, efficient manufacturing operations at our Manchester, NH facility. The role emphasizes floor presence, employee development, problem-solving, and hands-on collaboration with the team.

You will oversee daily production goals while upholding high standards for safety, quality, communication, and performance, coaching staff and driving continuous improvement.

Qualifications

• Leadership role in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong communication and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to learn production equipment and processes.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees across the shift.
• Maintain a safe working environment and enforce safety procedures.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet quality, output, and scheduling goals.
• Work with staff to learn equipment and assist operations as needed.
• Coach, train, motivate, and provide constructive feedback to team members.
• Communicate production priorities and shift updates clearly.
• Identify production problems and collaborate with teams to resolve them.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, continuous improvement, and open communication.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable local, state, and federal requirements.
• Document production activity and use company software to monitor operations.
