Job summary

NYCOA, based in Manchester, NH, is seeking a Production Supervisor (Chemical Manufacturing) to lead and support manufacturing employees on a rotating 12-hour schedule on the production floor. You will coordinate daily activities to meet safety, quality, output, and scheduling goals while maintaining a safe work environment and reinforcing procedures.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Previous leadership, team lead, or supervisory experience in a manufacturing or production environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
• Comfortable working around industrial machinery and manufacturing processes.
• Basic computer proficiency, including Microsoft Office.
• Available to work the required 12-hour rotating schedule.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support production employees throughout your assigned shift.
• Coordinate daily production activities to meet safety, quality, output, and scheduling goals.
• Maintain a safe working environment and reinforce company safety procedures.
• Coach, train, motivate, and provide feedback to employees.
• Communicate production priorities, expectations, and shift updates clearly.
• Work alongside the production team and assist with operations when needed.
• Identify production or equipment issues and help coordinate solutions.
• Promote teamwork, accountability, communication, and continuous improvement.
• Monitor production activity and complete required documentation.
• Use company software and systems to track production and operational information.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and applicable regulatory requirements.
