• Identify and report quality concerns or defects.
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting.

• Support process improvements and production efficiency initiatives.
• Work with production leads and cross-functional teams.

A client of Insight Global is looking for a Production Floater to support production operations within a manufacturing environment. This individual will rotate between multiple workstations and departments, assisting wherever production support is needed to maintain workflow, meet production goals, and uphold quality and safety standards.The ideal candidate is adaptable, mechanically inclined, and comfortable learning a variety of manufacturing processes. This person will work across assembly, packaging, machine operation, material handling, quality control, and electropolishing operations, including safely working with chemicals and supporting wastewater system monitoring.

Pay Rate: $22-$25

Responsibilities

• Perform production tasks across multiple departments based on business needs
• Rotate between workstations to provide coverage and support during high-volume production periods
• Assist with assembly, packaging, machine operation, material handling, and general production activities
• Electro polish parts while following established process instructions and quality standards
• Safely handle chemicals and adhere to all chemical safety procedures
• Monitor and maintain wastewater systems according to company guidelines
• Learn and become proficient in multiple manufacturing processes and operational procedures
• Conduct quality inspections and quality checks throughout various stages of production
• Identify and report quality concerns, defects, or process irregularities
• Assist with machine setup, changeovers, and minor troubleshooting when needed
• Follow all safety procedures and properly utilize required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Maintain clean, organized, and safe work areas
• Support process improvements and production efficiency initiatives
• Work closely with production leads, supervisors, and cross-functional teams
• Perform other duties as assigned by the Production Manager and/or General Manager
