Fujimi Corporation is seeking a motivated Production Manufacturing Technician to join our team in Oregon. You will manufacture products from start to finish, enter batch data, and support QC sampling while maintaining clean, safe work areas.

The role requires forklift/pallet jack operation, the ability to lift up to 50 pounds, and a detail-oriented approach to safety and quality. This is a 90-day temporary-to-hire opportunity in a fast-paced chemical manufacturing setting.

THIS POSITION IS A 90-DAY TEMPORARY TO HIRE THROUGH SUMMIT STAFFING

POSITION PURPOSE

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Production Manufacturing Technician to join our dynamic manufacturing team. In this role, you will play a vital part in ensuring the efficient and compliant production of chemical abrasive products from start to finish. Your expertise will help maintain high standards of safety, quality, and regulatory compliance while supporting continuous improvement initiatives. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced technical environment where your skills and manufacturing knowledge will directly contribute to delivering products that impact technology worldwide. May also work in other production areas as needed.

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
  • Manufacture product from start to finish following written processes. This includes data entry into the system for batch monitoring, packaging of product in a cleanroom environment.
  • Tests, samples and measures product according to established procedures and specifications for the scheduled product(s). Performs sampling of the product during process, that is submitted to QC.
  • Works with the team to maintain and clean work area including floors, tables, walls and equipment daily.
  • Use of stand-up forklift / pallet jack to bring in raw material from staging area at start of process and use of forklift / pallet jack to move finished product to staging area for Shipping to handle.
  • Ability to lift up to 50 pounds, repeatedly scoop 2 pounds and carry up to 44 pounds briefly.
  • Attention to detail including pattern recognition and observation of any differences in process.
  • Ability to multi-task / manage time effectively.
  • Calm under pressure, works well independently and with team.
  • Integrity / reporting of any issues during the process / willingness to ask questions if something seems off or they are unsure of things.
  • Driven and enthusiasm to learn new things.

Experience

Typically requires six months minimum experience working packaging or other manufacturing capacity.

Computer Skills

Must be proficient with Microsoft Office products: Outlook to regularly check emails. Proficiency in Word/Excel for trainings, track, log or record information or assist with updates to written procedures. Needs to be able to independently navigate between websites and computer systems to access training sites, data management system.

Other Requirements

Prior experience using pallet jack and forklift preferred.

Other Physical Requirements

Ability to wear Personal Protective Equipment (PPE): ANSI Z87+ Safety Glasses (throughout shift), Respirator (cartridge and N95), occasional hearing protection, bunny suit for cleanroom.

MENTAL OR VISUAL DEMAND

Continuous visual attention required in process of transporting raw materials, charging raw materials and monitoring machines in manufacturing process. Requires ability to do basic math problems mentally in the process. Requires constant awareness of production processes and attention to identify any possible defects or abnormalities to product, packaging or equipment.

WORKING CONDITIONS

This position works primarily in a chemical manufacturing / warehouse environment including some cleanroom manufacturing areas and occasional time in the office areas.
