Job summary

Elite Comfort Solutions, a Leggett & Platt Company, is seeking a Production Floater to support production operations and open box inspections as directed by the supervisor. This full-time role runs Monday through Friday from 6:00 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., with overtime as required.

Based in Conover, NC, you will assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, inspections and load/unload tasks on the production floor, while maintaining safety and quality standards.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
• Must be able to perform essential duties satisfactorily and safely.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate with supervisor at shift start to determine daily functions.
• Assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, inspections, and load/unload procedures.
• Move materials on the production floor using hand trucks or buggies.
• Perform duties such as gluing on a production line and other tasks as assigned.
• Follow safety procedures and maintain a clean, organized work area.

Job Summary

The Production Floater will assist in production operations and open box inspection processes as deemed necessary by the supervisor. (Monday - Friday, 6am-2:30pm, overtime required)

Essential Duties And Responsibilities

• At the beginning of each shift coordinate with supervisor to determine what job functions are needed for the day
• Assist with material handling, assembly, packaging, inspections, and load/unload procedures
• Use hand trucks or buggies to move materials about the production floor
• Perform other duties such as gluing on a production line
• Practice good safety techniques
• Perform other duties as assigned

Education

• High School diploma or GED equivalent required; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Experience

• Manufacturing experience is preferred but not required.
