Job summary

PureStar in Gardena, CA is seeking a Laundry Production Worker. This full-time, non-exempt role requires standing for long periods, coordinating linen processing, and meeting quality standards. Reports to Production Manager in a busy facility.

Responsibilities include sorting linen, feeding through folding machines, hand folding, and maintaining a safe workspace while hitting productivity targets. Prior laundry experience is helpful; many tasks involve manual handling and belt-driven equipment.

Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing.
• Feed clean linens through moving belt folding machines.
• Hand folds – manually folds small pieces of terry.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Operate flat worker ironer, feeders, folders, shakers, stackers and wrappers.
• Tie out bundles of clean, dried linen and terry.
• Sort linen products into containers.
• Maintain a safe, clean work area.
• Notify Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues.

We are looking to hire Laundry Production Workers for our laundry facility located in our Denver Location.

POSITION SUMMARY:

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

MAJOR JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
• Feedsclean linensthrough movingbeltfoldingmachines
• Hand Folds – Manually foldssmall pieces of terry
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Flat Worker Ironer,Feeders folders, Shakers,Stackersand Wrappers
• Tie out – Laundry- Ties bundles of cleandried linen and terry
• Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers
• Preventing accidents by working safely is to be the highest priority.
• Tracking production
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Notifying Shift Managerof anymechanical ormaterial issues
• Performs other duties asrequired.
