Job summary

Mission Linen Supply is seeking Production Staff to support industrial laundry production under supervision. A high school diploma or GED is required, and training will be provided if needed. No prior industrial laundry experience is required.

Starting pay is $16.90/hour with full-time employment and benefits. The role involves operating press equipment, handling items, and maintaining production flow in a fast-paced environment.

• Able to stand for long periods and lift up to 100 lbs occasionally.
• Willing to learn and be trained.

Responsibilities

• Operate press equipment.
• Process laundry in plant-established lot order.
• Maintain production floor distribution.
• Shake, sort by route, and sequence by route while laying out items prior to pressing.
• Classify and lay out items for pressing (industrial shirts vs executive).
• Separate soil pick-up tickets.
• Check items for needed repairs.
• Lift garments and/or linen onto the line storage system.
• Trolley garments and/or linen for truck pick-up.
• Load trollies into trailers.
• Ensure colleagues practice safety procedures at all times.
• Additional duties as assigned.

Production Staff are responsible for industrial laundry production flow activities under the direction of the Production Supervisor and/or Production Manager of the operating plant.

No prior industrial laundry experience is required. A high school diploma or GED is required, and experience working with plant equipment or machinery is a plus but not required. If you're reliable, hard-working, and ready to learn, we'll train you on the rest.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or General Education Degree (GED)
• Experience working with plant equipment/machinery highly desired, but not required
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment
• Ability to stand for long periods of time
• Ability to use hands to finger, handle, or feel objects, tools, or controls
• Ability to reach with hands and arms, and to stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl
• Ability to regularly lift and/or move up to 25–50 lbs, and occasionally up to 100 lbs as outlined in the Physical Demands below
