Job summary

PureStar is hiring a Laundry Production Worker at its Denver location to handle linen processing and meet quality and efficiency standards. You will sort linen, feed items through folding machines, and perform hand folds for smaller pieces while keeping a clean, safe work area.

The role is non-exempt with responsibilities including production tracking and reporting equipment or material issues to the Shift Manager. Prior laundry or housekeeping experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• Able to respond to basic verbal commands.
• Effectively follow directions.
• Organized and capable of multitasking.
• Multilingual a plus.

Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing.
• Feed clean linen through moving belt folding machines.
• Hand fold small pieces of terry.
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Operate flatwork ironer, feeders, folders, shakers, stackers and wrappers.
• Tie bundles of clean, dried linen and terry.
• Sort linen products into containers.
• Maintain a clean and safe work area.
• Notify Shift Manager of any mechanical or material issues.
• Performs other duties as required.

Position Summary

Responsible for completing processing of linen to meet quality and efficiency standards.

Major Job Responsibilities

• Sort clean and/or soiled linen for processing
• Feedsclean linensthrough movingbeltfoldingmachines
• Hand Folds – Manually foldssmall pieces of terry
• Meet or exceed quality and productivity standards.
• Flat Worker Ironer,Feeders folders, Shakers,Stackersand Wrappers
• Tie out – Laundry- Ties bundles of cleandried linen and terry
• Sort through linen products, depositing linen products into respective containers
• Preventing accidents by working safely is to be the highest priority.
• Tracking production
• Maintains a clean and safe work area
• Notifying Shift Managerof anymechanical ormaterial issues
• Performs other duties asrequired.

Physical/Mental Requirements

• Able to stand for a minimum of 8 hourspershift.
