Job summary

Thermal Care in Illinois is seeking a General Production Worker to support the build of heat transfer products. You will assemble frames and other components, grind and clean steel fabrications, and prepare fabrications for paint following detailed drawings and work instructions.

In a fast-paced plant, you will work safely, build skids and crates, package materials securely, and maintain labeling and insulation standards.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Accurately interpret measuring equipment.
• Understand safety regulations and protocols.
• Experience with power tools preferred.
• Must be legally able to work in the United States.
• Must have a positive attitude and foster a continuous improvement environment.

Responsibilities

• Work safely in a fast-paced environment.
• Assemble frames and other assemblies using detailed drawings.
• Grind, sand, and clean steel fabrications.
• Prepare fabrications for paint using sanding equipment and solvents.
• Effectively build skids, crates to specifications provided.
• Package material to prevent damage during transit.
• Clean, insulate, and label product per specifications and work instructions.
